The Hollywood Costume Exhibition at the V&A
11th January 2013
On the 19th December Miss Kwabia and Rasma took the Year 9 B-Tech Fashion group to The Hollywood costume exhibition at the V&A.
Here are two reviews from two Fashion students
The trip to the Victoria and Albert museum was fantastic! It was a great way to end the term with Christmas approaching. The building was breathtaking, walking around I saw lots of magnificent artwork and eye catching designs. The exhibition was full of famous movie costumes worn by famous actors and actresses in Hollywood movies.
It was one of the best experiences I have ever had.

Just before Christmas my Fashion class visited the Hollywood Costume exhibition at the V&A. It was a pleasant surprise to see so many famous costumes displayed in three different showrooms. I also visited other areas of the museum, such as the Japanese, Jewellery and Asian departments which fascinated me. The exhibition inspired me to work in my sketchbook over the holiday period including many sketches and drawings of costumes I saw on the day.
All in all it was a wonderful trip
