Why choose Studio 6?Studio 6 staff and students believe that all students have an opportunity to receive a credit for their success regardless of their academic starting point. All Studio 6 students will receive an Awards card in which they can collect points from staff for various success within the MKA. This will be similar to a retail rewards card e.g. Nandos. The more points a student receives the greater the overall reward. For example, points will be converted to vouchers and trips. There will be special reward days for students in which the dress code will be relaxed if they have earned enough points.
Every term, a Success Assembly will take place in which students will receive a letter of acknowledgement of their successes for that term. This will be based on their points and staff nominations.
Attendance is key to success and therefore to reflect this key value students will be entered into an attendance lottery every week when they have 100% attendance. If they are drawn out of the lottery they have an equal chance of winning a £5, £10 or £25 shopping voucher.
