Why choose Studio 6?Posted on 15th December 2010
As we approach the December break we use this time to reflect on the events of this last term. Employers often ask schools if they are developing students that are employable, I am confident that this is the case within Studio 6. Our enrichment programme has significantly developed and is now fully attended by all students. Many students have used their Wednesday afternoons this term to develop their photography, fashion, debating and business skills. We competed in the Milton Keynes debating competition and beat Bury Lawn School firming our place in the semi finals. The judges were so impressed with Natalie Bramall that they offered her work experience in the houses of parliament. Our students have been working alongside staff in the school and have received extensive training on their presentation and peer counselling skills. This is just naming a few of the many events! The December holidays are the time for BTEC students to ensure they are on target for distinction by using this time to further improve c/w. All A level students have exams in January which is either a full module or MOCK. These students should use this time to revise for these exams. We look forward to seeing everyone in January.
