Smart Students in the fast lane

A cheque for £52.22 was given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation thanks to the efforts of a hard-working Year 8 class.
Students in 8D raised the money the week before the Christmas break by having a cake bake, raffles and selling sweets and Christmas cards.
Teacher Mrs Agac said: "I think the students are all fantastic. They were the only class in Year 8 to raise money and they organised everything themselves."
The Make-A-Wish-Foundation grants wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
