Smart Students in the fast lane

As a part of our transition programme with our feeder primary schools the year 2 classes from Oldbrook First School visited the Academy to take part in Art & Design workshops.
After having their lunch in the Academy restaurant the children then experienced 3 workshops. The workshops that were running were: Baking Fairy Cakes, Designing a Pop Up card, Making a polyblock print in Art or Designing costumes from recycled materials and displaying these on the catwalk.
Everyone had a really enjoyable afternoon and the children were able to take their work home to show their families.
