The best of the best

July 2010

Sixteen exceptional students were honoured at a special prize-giving ceremony at the Academy.

Staff from each year group and Learning Village had the tough task of nominating a student who they considered to have been the most exceptional during the year.

Principal Lorna Caldicott said: "These students have been singled out from hundreds of other young people as being the best of the best. They have all had an outstanding year at the Academy and should all feel extremely proud."

Chairman of Governors Peter Mitchell presented winners with a certificate and 2000 Vivo points or gift vouchers. He said that he was extremely impressed with all the students and had enjoyed meeting them all.
