Bollywood dancers and African drummers were just two of the interesting attractions at a diversity event for Year 7 students held on April 1.
The Business and Enterprise Hub event showcased winning projects about different countries and helped students understand more about different cultures.
Rachel Brooks was a member of one of the winning teams. She said: "We had to find out as much as we could about Dubai and then make a presentation in front of the class. It was interesting and we wanted to know things such as how the new islands were made, how the huge hotels were built and all about the palm trees and clothes."
Performances included young musicians using an unusual Ugandan instrument called an amadinda, with keys imported by music teacher Laura Owens and assembled with help from members of the woodwork technology team.
Mahiyat Chowdhury impressed fellow students by her professional display of Bollywood dancing, while Roman Fojuth gave a confident presentation about his Polish homeland.
