Students learn about looking after themselves

Lisa Pittard of School Nursing said she wanted to show to children that she and her colleagues did more than immunisations: "It was apparent that the students got a huge amount out of the Health Fair in terms of awareness of all the different health services they can access."

Academy Deputy Director of Business and Enterprise, Debbie Gockelen, believed that the Health Fair had been very useful. She added: "The students became more aware of their personal well-being and keeping safe, and it was a tremendously valuable experience for them."
