Students Entertain Shoppers on December 10

December 2009

Young performers will be entertaining shoppers in Middleton Hall on December 10 to raise funds for good causes.

A group of students aged 11-18 from The Milton Keynes Academy will be singing and dancing by the big spectacular circus Christmas display in thecentre;mk from 9am until 3pm.

The students volunteered for the mammoth six-hour performance so they could raise money - with half going to Willen Hospice and the remainder being used for creating a new stage space in their dance studio.

Acting Head of Performing Arts Emma Cook said: "The students have a huge amount of talent, energy and enthusiasm, and they are all very excited about performing in public.

"We've been spending lots of time after school hours rehearsing different performances with Christmas and circus themes so we really hope that lots of people will come along to enjoy our entertainment on December 10."
