A key part of MK Academy's Raising Attainment Plan is the use by students of an online facility called SAM Learning. Data has shown that the more students use SAM Learning, the better they end up doing in their final exams. As an incentive to get students to use the facility, money was set aside to provide prizes. Analysis has shown that the incentive has proved to be successful as Year 11 have already clocked up over 500 hours of revision in five weeks.
The pic shows students receiving their prizes from Principal Lorna Caldicott - Daniel Dumore received an Ipod Touch, Sharon Appiah a Ninendo DSi and Roman Fojuth an Ipod Shuffle.
Year 11 have now been challenged to beat their current score by revising even more.
