Staff celebrated a pedal power victory recently after beating students in a Sport Relief cycling contest.
Head of PE Gareth Morris organised a static cycle challenge in Reception on Friday March 19, which proved to be a great success.
During the day staff pedaled 140 magnificent miles while the Year 10-13 students achieved a very credible 130 miles.
Not to be left out, students in Years 7, 8 and 9 did their own Sport Relief fundraising by running a mile. This involved completing eight laps of the Astroturf pitch during PE lessons.
Sponsorship money is still being collected, but it expected to total several hundred pounds.
All the money raised through Sport Relief 2010 will be spent by Comic Relief to help transform the lives of poor and vulnerable people, both at home and across the world's poorest countries.
