The first GCSE results from The Milton Keynes Academy show a marked improvement from its predecessor school.
The biggest change is that 97 per cent of students achieved five or more A*-C grades at the Academy compared to 74 per cent at Sir Frank Markham Community School last year.
"It's a massive improvement and shows how hard students and staff worked," said Senior Vice Principal Mark Duke. "It's also really good news that 62 of the top GCSE A*grade were achieved across nine subjects."
Students who have special cause to celebrate are Yasmin Issaka who achieved A or A*grades in seven subjects and James Gregg and Buthaina Ramsey who achieved similar grades in five subjects.
