GCSE Celebrations

GCSE results show an improvement on last year at The Milton Keynes Academy. Overall, the number of higher grades has increased and the overall results have improved. Principal Mrs Caldicott said: "I am pleased with this year's results and they reflect the hard work of the students and the staff."

Students who have special cause to celebrate are Ilam Ali who achieved 8 A grades and Ria Stewart and Luke Pollard who both passed 14 GCSEs.

Ethan Laurent was delighted with his 3 A*s, 5 As, 7 Bs and 5 Cs. He said: "I am not surprised because I have been working hard. I want to go on and study engineering now."

Roda Farah was also pleased with her GCSE results of 2 A*s, 1 A, 5 Bs and 9Cs. She also achieved a BTEC distinction. "I feel really good", she said, "I plan to go to Studio 6 now and study psychology and English Language."
