Fundraising for a young boy with leukaemia has been given a big boost by generous Academy staff.
Five year old Lucas Pritchard plays football for the same club as the son of Academy Achievement Coach Elisabeth Scott.
Elisabeth said: "When Lucas was diagnosed with leukaemia in September this year we were asked to see if we could do something to help. I organised a successful event at a children's activity centre which netted just short of £1,300 and then a raffle at the Academy which raised more than £1,300."
Elisabeth is full of praise for her colleagues: "An amazing amount was raised in a relatively short time. Thank you all for your support."
