An emotional assembly took place to mark the end of school for the Year 13 students who have now left the Academy. The special assembly involved tributes from staff, the presentation of awards and a celebration lunch.
Principal Mrs Caldicott congratulated the leavers and described the achievements of the year group as "a stunning success."She added: "You have been a fine example for younger children - showing leadership, teamwork, resilience and communication skills. We are very proud of you."
Head of Studio 6 Miss Forster and former sixth form Head Mrs Woodhead, summarised achievements of the students and wished them well for the future. Year 13 students worked together to create a year book of favourite memories which will be on display.
