Students from Years 7–13 took to the stage to perform the summer musical, “Fame”. Students worked for months rehearsing, dancing and singing to make sure the show was ready for its matinee audience on Wednesday to local primary school students. It wasn’t just the performers working hard - Creative & Media students ran and organised backstage while teachers and students came together to form the live band.
Head of Performing Arts, Emma Cook, said: “I am so proud of all the hard work the students and staff have put into this year’s production, it was incredible and testament to the amount of talent we have here at the Academy."
Look out for the Academy’s Christmas production on the 12 and 13 December 2012.
