Enterprise Fund competition results

Six superb ideas about making the Academy a better place will be turned into reality.

Year 7 and 8 students were given the chance to put suggestions forward to benefit the school community as part of the Academy’s 2011 Enterprise Fund project.

Judges agreed that there were many fantastic ideas put forward from students but agreed to give funding for six projects.

The winning schemes are:

• Creating a new piece of artwork from recycled materials
• Producing a school radio programme
• Organising a football tournament for Year 8 students
• Creating a chill out room
• Launching a stationery shop
• Starting a keep fit club for Year 7
