Smart Students in the fast lane

Around 100 Academy students considering going on to university or college had the chance to find out what is available to them locally.
The Academy invited in representatives from five nearby education institutions to talk about courses on offer and answer questions about university life.
Students were able to chat to ambassadors from Moulton College in Northampton, the University of Buckingham, the University of Bedfordshire, the University of Northamptonshire and Oxford Brookes University.
Deputy Director of Business and Enterprise Debbie Gockelen said: "In this economic climate it is really important for the students to get to know the local higher and further education institutions which we know are going to be popular. "
