Students’ work is assessed through 100 per cent examination, therefore you must enjoy and be comfortable doing exams if you choose this course.
This subject is taught using a variety of teaching methods.You will also complete regular essay practice in exam conditions which will be marked using the exam criteria in order to prepare you fully for the exam.
The A2 course builds on knowledge learned in the AS course and it includes excretion, photosynthesis, respiration plus a module on control, genomes and environment.
You must achieve at least an E at AS level to progress onto the A2 course.
